Transforming Data Into Business Insights That Drive Better Decisions
M.Sc. Data Science candidate specializing in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, SQL, Python, and Power BI. I transform complex datasets into actionable insights, interactive dashboards, and data-driven business decisions.
My work starts with a question, not a dataset. Before I open Power BI or write a single SQL query, I try to understand what decision the numbers need to support — because a dashboard nobody acts on is just a nicer-looking spreadsheet.
I've built engagement dashboards that surfaced which content actually drove reach, and predictive models that turned 24,000+ environmental records into forecasts people could plan around. In both cases, the technical work was the easy half — the harder, more interesting half was translating patterns into something a stakeholder could act on in five minutes.
I'm drawn to the point where analytical rigor meets business judgment — and I'm building a career around living at exactly that intersection.
Breaking ambiguous problems into testable, measurable questions.
Turning tables of numbers into a narrative a non-technical stakeholder trusts.
Connecting KPI movement back to real decisions and trade-offs.
Currently deepening my ML and predictive analytics toolkit, project by project.
A stack focused on one outcome: getting from raw data to a decision, reliably and fast.
Two projects, two different problems — same underlying process: understand the question, clean the data, build something people can trust.
Understand what actually drives audience engagement and content performance on Twitter — likes, retweets, replies, and clicks were being tracked but never connected to a decision.
Built an interactive Power BI dashboard with clustered bar, dual-axis, and ranking visuals across 8+ engagement metrics, backed by DAX measures for trend and KPI calculations.
Surfaced clear engagement patterns and content-performance trends the team could use to prioritize what to post next — turning six analytical tasks into one reusable reporting view.
Air quality data from CPCB India existed but wasn't being turned into a usable forecast — no way to anticipate AQI levels ahead of time for planning.
Cleaned and processed 24,000+ environmental records, engineered features across 10+ attributes, then trained and evaluated a CatBoost model for AQI forecasting.
Delivered a working predictive pipeline for AQI forecasting — a concrete example of moving from messy environmental data to a model people could actually query.
Helping businesses turn data into actionable insight — from a one-off report to a live dashboard.
Every recommendation traces back to a number, not a hunch.
I optimize for the decision the data needs to support, not just the analysis itself.
Power BI builds that stakeholders actually open again.
Reports that lead with the "so what," not just the numbers.
Comfortable sitting with messy, ambiguous data until it makes sense.
Actively expanding into deeper ML and predictive analytics work.
Academic training in both data science and the physical sciences — quantitative rigor paired with modern analytics.
Focused on Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Visualization, and Data-Driven Decision Making.
